Dr. Jenni McCrory
Prairie City Elementary Principal

Welcome to PCE!

My name is Jenni McCrory, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Prairie City Elementary. At PCE, we are proud to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for approximately 260 students in grades 3-5.

Our school offers a variety of support services, including TAG, ESL, Special Education, reading support, and counseling, to ensure that all students have the resources they need to succeed. As a Leader in Me school, we embrace the Seven Habits, empowering our students to become leaders in their classrooms, school, and community.

I believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential for student success. I am committed to fostering meaningful relationships with students, families, and the broader PCM community. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to implement effective teaching practices that engage and inspire our students in their learning journey.

Monroe Elementary Principal

At Monroe Elementary, we are passionate about laying a strong foundation for our young learners, particularly in early math and literacy. Our dedicated team of educators works tirelessly to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive both academically and socially. We firmly believe that a strong connection between home and school plays a vital role in a child's success, and we value the partnerships we build with our families.

We are also proud to be a Leader in Me school, a program that empowers students to take ownership of their learning and leadership skills. Through Leader in Me, students have the opportunity to take on meaningful jobs within our school, helping them build responsibility, confidence, and a sense of community. By fostering these leadership opportunities, we encourage students to develop essential life skills that will benefit them throughout their educational journey and beyond.

Our commitment to excellence goes beyond academics. We emphasize a balanced approach to learning, fostering both social-emotional growth and academic skills to ensure our students are well-prepared for their transition to our 3rd-5th grade building in Prairie City. By instilling confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning, we set our students on a path to lifelong success.
